of pallets and other large trading units.
Using the sophisticated Logopak 920 RFID
printer system, pallets or other large
items can be labeled on 1, 2 or 3 sides
of the unit with self-adhesive labels
in standard or custom formats. Printed
with clear human-readable text and machine-readable
bar codes, any or all of the labels applied
can contain a programmed and verified
RFID tag. RFID tags that do not program
and verify correctly are automatically
rejected prior to being attached to the
printed label, and a replacement RFID
tag is programmed, verified and attached
in its place. In addition, readability
of those tags that are attached can be
enhanced by the FlagTag system: When a
label with an RFID tag is applied, the
Logopak 920 RFID "bends" the
label – creating a FlagTag –
so that the RFID tag is held away from
the product surface for better readability.
