Foxjet Solo 90 Series:
Building on the success of the SoloSeries 45,
FoxJet is pleased to announce the availability of
the SoloSeries 90 HP-based printhead. Much
like the 45, the 90 uses a nearly identical
rugged case design and doubles the potential
print height to 1” by placing two HP print
cartridges side by side in a single case.
In order to allow for the increased capacity in
the system, the electronics that drive the print
cartridges have been redesigned from the
ground up to offer additional features and
future capabilities that were simply not possible
on the previous board design.

Here’s
some of the basics that will get you started with
the SoloSeries 90 printhead.
• 1” print area spanning
two HP 45 print cartridges
• New 1” font available,
1” logos are also supported
• .5” and .25” fonts
have been modified such that they can be placed on
top of each other without
overlapping. The .10” font
is still available, unmodified.
• 10 line capability with a single SoloSeries 90
printhead (5 lines per cartridge)
• Enhanced memory storage options include 28 memory
locations for fonts and logos
• Two sets of photo sensors, one for each cartridge
in the SoloSeries 90 printhead
• Single power connection and serial interface simplify
the installation of a dual cartridge system
• Other features such as DPI, Throw Distance, Print
Orientation, etc. remain the same from previous SoloSeries
45 release
