Memjet Color Printer

Memjet technology, supplied by Memjet Home and Office, will reshape the office workgroup and home photo printing markets by enabling companies to design, manufacture and sell Memjet-based office printers and home photo printers that deliver high-quality, high-speed color printing at breakthrough costs. Additionally, the technology provided by Memjet Home and Office will enable brands with little or no printing technology to enter the imaging and printing market on a level playing field, while allowing established brands to leverage a compelling new printing technology.

While color printing offers numerous advantages to businesses of all sizes, monochrome laser devices continue to dominate the worldwide office printer market, delivering speed at relatively low costs. Although color printing in the office is growing, color devices to date have either delivered performance at a high price premium, or traded off performance to meet cost goals.

Memjet technology delivers 60 ppm color performance at a fraction of the cost of existing color printers. By enabling devices with leading price/performance, leading color consumables cost and competitive black-and-white consumables cost, Memjet technology has the potential to shift monochrome customers to color and lead the color page printing market.
